Text Entry Fields

Maximum Hop Count	If the target host is not found after this many hops, the trace will terminate.
Probes Per Hop	Number of UDP or ICMP probes sent to each hop
Packet Size	Size of each probe or ping packet
UDP Port	Starting port number for UDP probes
DNS Timeout	Seconds to wait for a DNS response
Trace/Ping Timeout	Time to wait before attempting the next probe
Ping Delay	Time to wait before sending the next probe after the previous attempt has finished
Maximum Name Length	Aligns output in tabular format

Check Boxes

Resolve Names	Enable or Disable DNS lookups
Start With Clear Display	Clear display at beginning of each command
Update Status Bar	Enable updating of busy indicators
Beep on Completion	Sound the bell when a traceroute finishes
Show All Ping Results	Show result of each ping if enabled - otherwise a summary only
Use UDP Traceroute	Uses ICMP for traceroute if diabled
